Why do I have to wait “x” amount of time before I can take the final?
It is a DRE mandate that we give you a set amount of time to complete the course material before proceeding to take the final exam; you will be prevented from taking an exam before enough time has elapsed, in order to allow sufficient time to review your course material.

The timer is set within the course. It begins when you open the course material and ends when you exit the course. Please note that there must be activity within the course (e.g. viewing a different page of the course) before quiting or exiting the course for the timer to log your end time.

This period is automatically set by DRE regulations, and is generally equivalent to the CE hours given for the course.

Must I take a course in a single session?
No. You may take a break and log out at any time. To continue from where you were, Log In and go to "My Courses" at the top of the screen to see a list of your current "In Progress" and/or "Completed" courses. Click on the course you wish to resume, and you will be taken to the page you last visited.
What if I lose my connection while taking a course?
Your progress is stored in our database, so you may leave a course at any time, voluntarily or not, and resume where you left off. To continue from where you were, go to "My Courses" at the top of the screen to see a list of your current courses. Click on the course you wish to resume, and you will have a choice of going back to the beginning or continuing from where you left off.
How do I submit my Certificates of Completion? How do I submit my results to the DRE?
You will need to submit your results to the DRE. Our site does not automatically do this for you. You may fill out the certificate numbers, on the DRE form, and send it to them in that manner. You can also submit your results online by going to the DRE site. Click Here to go to the DRE site.

You will need your certificate numbers and dates of completion from your Certificates of Completion that appear after you take the finals for each course.

Can I access a course at any time? Why do I have to wait?
The courses can be accessed at any time. The exams are timed so that they can only be accessed after enough time has elapsed for a learner to read the course material. This is a DRE requirement.

Can I go on to another course before the current one finishes the time required?
Yes.

What happens if I don’t finish the final exam on time?
The session times out, and you will have to start over.

How long do I have to take the final exam?
The time is shown when you start each exam.
